.@NIKKOGRAY.
She currently resides in Los Angeles, CA and actively writes and records music.
At the age of 17, Nikko formed a band that held a residency at Velvet Jones in Santa Barbara, CA. Since then, Nikko has played hundreds of shows all over California. In 2014, she joined Shwayze on the national Feel Good tour as an opener.
Thanks to her mother’s background, Nikko got an informal but completely submersive training in music from a young age, even joining her mother for recording sessions when she was 5. Not long after moving to LA, Nikko met a young Shwayze at school and formed an instant kinship through music. Hearing the enchantment in her voice when she sang, Shwayze wrote and recorded Nikko’s first solo track that was produced by Dave Wexler (Brainfeeders Strangeloop).

It is by no accident that when Nikko Gray sings, you feel haunted. Her voice extends from her core and permeates you; striking straight in the heart, leaving an essence that cannot be washed off no matter how hard you scrub. Born in England to the late child superstar Maureen “Girl” Gray, Nikko was raised in London and Holland before relocating to Los Angeles at the age of 15.
